Steens Richmond Solid Pine Wooden Ottoman Box

Beautifully crafted from solid pine wood and finished with an antique colouring for a rustic finish, this wooden storage box would fit effortlessly in any traditional home. The ideal size for storing bed linen and towels, the ottoman box could also sit at the end of a bed as a stylish storage option. Optimum height for both adults and children to use, the ottoman could also be used as a child’s toy box, keeping toys in reach whilst adding a rustic charm to any room.

The solid pine lid sits on a metal runner which locks into place once open ensuring safe usage at all times. This makes it incredibly easy to open and close, the ideal place to store handy everyday items. Manufacturer Steens attempt to source as many materials as possible from sustainable areas and all timber is sourced from FSC accredited forests in Finland and Sweden. This Scandinavian pine is then given a clear lacquer coat, displaying the unique character of the wood whilst adding a layer of protection against daily use. A carved design and turned bun feet complete the piece.

As a bulky piece, the stunning Richmond wooden storage chest will arrive in a flat-packed form to be easily manoeuvred around your home before being assembled by one person with very little effort. Danish manufacturer Steens has been creating beautiful wooden furniture since 1963 and every piece has been constructed with the utmost care and attention to detail. The high quality Richmond range consists of several matching pine wood pieces to create a cohesive look in any home.
